According to the Wyoming Department of Game and Fish, Clarence C. and Frances H. Lusby signed an agreement to allow access to the North Platte River on November 20, 1964. The agreement was for permanent acess for fishing, migratory waterfowl hunting and boating. The access site begins on the corner of Section 35, Township 31 N, and Range 82 W. If you wish to visit the site it is approximately 18 to 20 miles south west of the City of Casper, WY on state highway 220 headed to Rawlins, WY. There are Wyoming Game and Fish Department access signs (brown) marking the entry from highway 220 from both directions.
